Colours of old gold and amber, this Porto has intense aromas of honey and spices, underscored with deep flavours of dried apricots, hazelnuts and vanilla, to create a rich yet elegant combination gained the important Trophy that proudly brings home. Luís Sottomayor, Sogrape Vinhos’ Winemaker responsible for Porto and Douro wines, comments “We are very proud that Sandeman 30 Year Old Tawny Porto has been awarded this prestigious trophy. It bears testament to Sandeman’s long tradition of making these Aged Tawnies from its extensive stock of aging wines, dating back nearly 150 years”.
Since 1790, Sandeman’s success as a Porto producer has been based on the expertise handed down from generation to generation. Today, part of Sogrape Vinhos - Portugal's leading family-owned fine wine company, Sandeman continues to thrive with its commitment to quality and excellence.
